Mekanism Universal Cables are largely invisible

I have been having issues with the universal cables being rendered incorrectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have optifine installed?
If so remove that. Chances are it didn't improve your fps that much and it's not worth the visual glitches.

Make sure your graphics drivers are updated.

Have you tried relogging?

I thought the drivers might be the issue so I did update them, but it did not change anything. Also, this was happening before and now after a computer rebuild*+windows reinstallation so that can be crossed off of things to try. This has persisted since I started using Mekanism about a month ago, so relogging has been tried without change. Any other ideas about what is causing this/how to fix it? If you need any other information/files just ask.
