Every time I restart the ME Dense Conduit (EnderIO) disconnects from the ME Glass Cable (Applied Energistics 2).

It seems to get fixed if I give it a block update (disconnect and reconnect). Does anyone have any information on what causes this and how to fix it?

If the cable is bugged in what circumstances can I use the Conduit instead of Cable because I have more Conduit than Cable at the moment.

You can use the conduit, but it doesn't connect to the multipart bits of AE2 (i.e. buses, the small interfaces, quartz fibre etc.)

I'm not a fan of how the EIO ME Conduits struggle to connect to any of the regular AE systems other than cables. I still use EIO Conduits to cover distances between groups of systems, but I use AE cables when involved in an actual system.

Upon further testing it turns out that it will disconnect if two single block entities are connected at a right angle. If you avoid using two items adjacent to each other using ME Conduit and Glass Fluix Cable that connect in the same block space as the cable it should be fine.

For example: I have a main line with Dense ME Cable. I place an orange fluix cable then an import bus on the up side of the cable. I place a Cache to import lead ingots. On the bottom of the Cache I place a storage bus then use another orange fluix cable to connect to the main line. It will work initially but once I restart it will disconnect until I gave the blocks a block update.

By single block space I mean like the ME Interface which has 2 shapes. One is a block and the other looks flat. The flat one can be placed in the same block space as a cable and the one in block form can not.
