MCPC problems

I'm sure I am doing something simple wrong. I have a brand new server from Pyto hosting. Running Mindcrack v8.2.0 and minecraft 1.4.7. I am trying to install MCPC but it is not working. Played on the regular mindcrack for a few hours to verify everything was working. Uploaded the MCPC to my root directory and changed the jar to ftbserver.jar. After a restart it just crashes.

Thought this was a simple jar swap?

If it's not automatically enabled then no. Does it need to be on or off? Anyone know a good walk through for this?
