Hello people ~

I was wondering if there was anyone around here who would like to share their mcMMO configs (compatible with the new ores and stuff) before starting to make my own configs for FTB Ultimate.

I would really appreciate it since... i must admit, quite a lazy git =(

Hey iam working on it right now. Awww just started with it. :-D

on the tools.yml iam not really shure what to put for "tier" and "durability" for all the mod items

for example:


Axe_1:
ID: 999 // The item ID for the tool
XP_Modifer: 1.0 // i guess times X basic XP
Ability_Enabled: true // If you can use the active ability of the tool
Tier: 1 // Tier 1 is wood, 2 is stone, 3 is iron, 4 is diamond or higher
Repairable: true // obvious
Repair_Material_ID: 99 // The Id for the item to repair the tool
Repair_Material_Data_Value: 0 // The value x for example 99:x if needed
Repair_Material_Quantity: 9 // I guess the number of Repair_Material you need to repair the tool

If i finsh this configs i will post them. But not shure if i will... I do it just for fun.
So if someone has a clu or is also working on it. Would be nice to share the stuff.

Maybe we can make a google doc and work together on it...
 
I figured out that if you press F3+H You can see the durability of all tools in the tooltip.
Inside mcMMO "Tier" has something to do with special abilities. For example Skull Splitter wich makes AoE damage to mobs.
They told me on IRC (#mcmmo) that this effects the number of mobs that get hit by this ability.
 
Do any of you have lists yet? I would love to get them off of you when you are done. We are working on some for my server right now! :)

I have been having issues with my server last couple of days, so I haven't done any progress with mcMMO so far tbh.
Now that’s been fixed, I’ll see if I start to tinker a little with it soon ~ if any of you made any progress with it so far, please do share, so I can start working on something else instead of just remaking whatever was made already :/ Big thanks.

Hey Myobi, I've been working on an MCMMO config for FTB as well, and have all of the config stuff sorted, but cannot get the custom blocks to work (custom tools are fine, as far as i can tell). Whenever mining custom ores or cutting custom wood, there is no EXP earned. Any ideas? As a preemptive thanks, here is my custom blocks.YML (albeit it isnt balanced or completed, it got all the custom FTB blocks in MCMMO format) Although it excludes plants and such

Heya! I’m honestly not sure if I can be much help yet, since besides the ID list I haven’t done much at all yet >.<! Still! Your block configs looks good, I don’t think the problem is on it…

I know there was an issue with a version of mcMMO that wouldn’t load the block configs, still, since it’s getting late already, tomorrow as soon as I can, I’ll upload those block configs to my server and give them a go, I’ll tell you something as soon as I can.

Also, big thanks for sharing mate, much appreciated.

Just a heads up, I managed to figure out my issue with custom blocks not recognizing! :D (only took 5 hours... amongst other server work) I didnt realize that MCMMO accounted for blocks placed by players. after nuking the hell out of a map to reveal ores i found out that it infact works properly :D

I'm one of those who don't use skype xD! Only TeamSpeak =P
I've just started to test the configs now, I've been using WorldEdit to set the ores ~
Some of them don't seem to work, I'm going to give a check on those IDs =P

Edited: Kay, from the ores that I tested only these don't seem to work:

Copper Ore 249:1
Tin Ore 249:2
Silver Ore 248
Cinnabar Ore 200
I'm not sure why, since the ID & Data Value are correct =/

Kay, done with the Wood Blocks too. Only the Rubber Wood (627) seems to have issues, again, ID and Data Value seems to be correct....

Yea i haven't gone through and checked every ID yet (nor most woods) because after 5 hours of server editing, i just felt like playing. My server isn't currently running world edit, so it makes it a bit difficult to test unless i just nuke a crater and find the ores :3

I havent figured out what is up with a lot of the random blocks just not wanting to work... its just a few of the bunch it seems.

I actually had the tools YML built up as well. attached for you. Haven't had any issues with the tools, hopefully they are correct. (i havent done repair testing with them... mostly because i never do repairing... haha)[DOUBLEPOST=1369954244][/DOUBLEPOST]Hate to double post, but I also spent some time to balance out the EXP values for ores last night, figured I would send you over the updated version. Also put in data for blocks that drop items instead of ore blocks... although im a little confused on the process. I', not sure if i am supposed to leave it "is ore" or not. I believe so, because it tells the blast mining ability to collect those ores instead of destroying them completely. So for the time being, basalt and marble are set to not be ore and everything else is set to be ore. I think i got most of the data values for duplicated ore types correct, but not 100% sure and was too lazy to look into it. Hopefully I didn't reverse any of them.

I tell you what, tomorrow (or even later…) I’ll see if I can take care of the armor configs & add the power tool to the tools configs, since it’s an all-in-one tool, I was hoping I could make it work with unarmed/woodcutting/mining/herbalism ~ not sure if possible tough >.<

No prob. Yea i haven't dove into armor yet, and didnt actually know about the power tool :P (still fairly new to FTB) and i actually forgot to test if the mining drill (i set it for excavation as well) but i think it was working okay the last i checked
