All of a sudden without changing or adding anything I am getting some extreme opening lag. Sometimes to open an inventory it takes like 20 seconds, though opening my inventory is unaffected, and I don't get fps lag when opening them. I still get it when I disable chunk loading on my base and go a couple hundred blocks away. I have also noticed that wayla is also affected by this and often says waiting for server, which I find odd since I am on single player. I have tried restarting both Minecraft and my computer, updating the pack, and reinstalling the pack. Does anyone know any suggestions or possible solutions?

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.
