Mass transport of liquids

I found an extremely cool extreme hills formation and decided to move my base. It's over 2000 meters away from my old base. I used a couple linking books from mystcraft to move my stuff (took a while but got the job done).

I have a few tank stacks full of creosote oil left and was wondering if there is a good way to move that.

Anybody have suggestions?

If you have bees you could make wax capsules, or otherwise make tin cans. They normally act as one use buckets that stack, but if you use a liquid transposer it will return the empty containers.

Mystcraft + railcraft tank carts seems to be a populare solutoin
Personaly i love can/cells + liquid transposers in both ends. Works especially well if you have a decent beeswax production.
Leapfrogging tanks could also work, might be a lot of fun, but could also be a bit tedious.

If you go with the capsules route, use Ender Chests and World Anchors to automate the transfer so you don't have to keep filling your inventory and making laps.

If you have Mystcraft crystals available, then it will probably be easier to set up a tank cart shuttling back and forth between whatever liquid loaders and unloaders you currently have set up. Just shift around the tracks and un/loaders when you're moving on to another liquid. This is probably the simpler method if you have the materials to do it.

...or if you didn't mind complications and had the resources, you could set up a tank cart and track to do all of it in sequence, but that's not something I've yet done and thus don't immediately have a suggestion for.

A 2000 block long tunnel at Y:12 for a tank cart sure would hold a lot of resources, perhaps even dug by a turtle. Only works if you love digging though .

Mystcraft portals are the easiest solution, you need crystals though.

Thanks! I just used cans and a transposer. Seemed faster & easier than setting up a rail system

I do love digging, you should see the number of tunnels in my old worlds!! Just didn't want to take that amount of time right now
