So the question is simple...

Nether ores and normal Thermal Expansion ores contain some ores that are disabled in FTB Infinity 1.5.1. However, some ores I want to enable, but how can I manually do this without delving deep into the mod's code?

I've tried searching through the configs, could only find the netherores one. Not the main world.

FTBInfinity\minecraft\config\cofh\world\FTB-Infinity-Ores for the mod ores
FTBInfinity\minecraft\config\cofh\world\ThermalFoundation-Ores for TE ores
FTBInfinity\minecraft\config\cofh\world\Vanilla for vanilla ores

Yes because they're not enabled, you have to add them in. Search for the guide I told you about cos I don't know how to do it.

You can probably just enable them in the nether ores conifg, I know you can disable them not sure if you can enable them though. However it will then use its own spawning systems and thus may not be balanced against the needs of the modpack you are playing.

If you delete the ThermalFoundation-Ores.json it will make a new file with the default settings containing shiny. Mana infused ore doesn't have any use so it isn't in that by default at all. Iridium ore is a Gregtech ore in the overworld, you need Gregtech to get it there. If you want them for the Nether that config is in powercrystals/netherores/common.cfg. Iridium should be enabled already but you have to enable platinum yourself.
