So in my logistics pipes system I use a packager to turn my metals to blocks for storage, but they get packaged to industrial craft 2 metal blocks and i like the way the thermal expansion ones look. So I was just wondering if there was a way to package it into thermal expansion blocks.

Your best bet is to use some sort of OreDict converter on the blocks once they're already created. JABBA barrels can do this, but it requires one of whatever you want to convert to already in it.

I have a problem, dont know if i shouldve made a new post for this but the packager keeps making plates from calclavia core and i dont like that. Any way for it to only craft 9 items?

Not with the packager to my knowledge, but you can use a cyclic assembler. Its way faster. Just need to put a schematic in there with the recipe of what you want. It will cost 1RF per use though. Easily satisfied with a hardened flux capacitor or better if outside the normal range of your power network.
