I want to make a staircase which will lead to my 2nd floor, but I'm not great at designing anything. Instead of normal stairs, I would like to use microblocks either exclusively or with the stairs. I posted a few pictures below with wool so you can see the room's dimensions. The snowman represents the height of the 2nd floor. Facing the wall, the staircase has to curve back to get access to the 2nd floor. The hole in the ceiling can be resized to fit with the dimensions of the staircase.

Alternatively, I could make a support frame elevator, however, that leaves the room empty looking... especially the sides. I know how to make an elevator using support frames, I don't know know how to make it not appear so single and out of place.

Just use microblocks slabs and pillars and forget about using stairs. I find it much easier since you can move the stairs half a block if needed that way.

Also, that is a LOT of room to set aside for a staircase IMO. You can make one very thin and compact with microblocks. Here is one example of a winding staircase within a 3x3 footprint(used this for the inside of Redwood trees):

(not the best angle, but the best shot I have atm).

But if you want something grandiour you could have one wide staircase in the middle at the bottom that then branch off to the sides and go up both sides.

Now if you want to fill the space you have with a staircase that is quite simple. Simply make some slabs out of whichever block you feel matches your build scheme and make a staircase going up. Simple as that, now you can add more detail along the side of the slabs with full blocks with a contrasting block type, maybe even go crazy and add some fence posts or walls. Personally I would just go with elevators and find another way to fill the space.
