Make Server MUCH Faster

I am soon going to start a FTB Unleashed server and I don't have that good internet (upload .5Mbits/download 10Mbits) and I want to make my server really fast. Any way to make it faster without getting a better internet service?

Don't even bother running a server on that. Upload speed is what matters most for a server and you have enough upload for maybe 1 person if your lucky. Its pretty sad, you have a nice computer with a powerful processor but your internet speed just isn't enough.
