Hello everyone!

I am playing on my modpack which has all DW20 mods + some more, and i was running out of space on my AE system, so I switched to a black hole chest, and that worked well except that I would like it so I can use my ME system to manage the chest contents instead of logistics pipes, that are not my favorite. I would like to see my black hole chest contents in my AE window and be able to take them out like I would with a storage cell. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Ah, that worked well. Thank you. And sorry for asking a simple question.

Tis cool, that's part of why we're here! Also, the storage bus doesn't connect to just chests; you can connect it to things like MFR deep storage units, too. Tis very handy for things you'll end up having a tonne of like dirt, cobble, and gravel. Tis my answer to the old "why not just void pipe it?" since DSUs can hold millions of a single item. At least, I think its millions, it might be higher...

If you only want certain items in a chest add those items in the storage bus so when you add to your AE system they get routed there.

Yea I set up a 50x50 wall of igneous extruders and on top of that I had the transition plane cobble generator setup in where I gained like 512 cobble per second, but I was using them in a bunch of recyclers, I probably would have hit 2 billion if I didnt use recyclers.

Goes fast when you want octuple compressed cobblestone. I do hope you partitioned the disks for cobble to improve storage efficiency. You lose a lot of space letting multiple items use one disk especially on 1k and 4k drives.

He was using a DSU, so no AE sheenanigans to worry about, just a simple storage bus.

A simple storage bus has to use power to exist, then uses power when it inputs into the storage medium, and then again to extract. For those of us with higher power requirements than the default, this is something to consider. DSU's for stuff that will be used frequently is a concern for power efficiency. Also AE tends to take up less physical space than other options, especially with extracells being installed as in my case.

Extra cells should be installed in every case
