Problem Major TPS drop at a random time

I have a FTB Monster (1.0.3) server on MCPC+ (203) running on a e5-1245v2 with 8gb of ram dedicated to the server. It is a dedicated server using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and running off of rtoolkit for a server wrapper. Normally it runs fine with 20.0 tps. However, recently after awhile of being up and maintaining 20.0 the tps just randomly drops to anywhere between 2-15, averaging around 13. It doesn't matter how many players are online, it runs at 20.0 with 16 players, then just randomly drops even when there's only 8.

I've done countless profiling but cant find any issue.

The only serious thing I can find is in the Spigot Timings, but it has no detail besides reporting extremely high tick rate for Full Server Tick.


Restarting the server immediately fixes the issue, but it comes back shortly after being up. I believe it could be caused by a player loading a certain chunk, but I can't find any direct evidence of it. I've also gotten a few crash reports related to advanced genetics, but there may not be a direct correlation between the two.
