I've been recording 2 20 minuet videos these two have been me mining searching for diamonds but all I found is the mod pack ores and no Diamonds is this a bug? I've stripped mined on layer 12 for over 200 blocks. Does anyone know what's happening?
I think Magic World 2 was designed to be like that, where's the fun otherwise, but I'm not actually sure about that.
If that's ^^ incorrect, you might just be unlucky.
I often find that diamonds seem to spawn a bit lower than in Vanilla. If you're having trouble finding diamonds I'd recommend putting the first diamond into making a pickaxe of the core from thaumcraft. Use that to sound out for small deposits of ore low down in the world-some of those will be diamonds. I believe Witchery adds a way to hunt down diamonds, but that requires a few more diamonds to set up.
