Is anyone else having trouble researching it in the DW20 pack? i've gotten literally everything else except the visual golem upgrades done, but when i try to research the mirror, it just doesn't research, i've put a stack of quicksilver in and it never greys out a trait, but it never produced a theory. anyone know what the problem is?

I've never known it to gray out a trait if there is nothing to research, only if the current research does not need it.

Try researching other things?

Just remember: If you don't get the beginnings of a theory after the first click, none of the currently available aspects are used.

the thing is I know exactly what magic mirror needs one of which is motus, which quicksilver has

Do you have the current version of thaumcraft 3? The mirrors were only in the most recent versions. Compare the version (you can find it in the mods of the mc launcher) to the version on the minecraftforums post.
