Magic Farm 2 and Biomes O' Plenty seed growth biomes question

I really like the idea of playing Magic Farm 2 with a Biomes O' Plenty seed but I was curious how this affects plant growth rates. For example the rice seed states "Crop grows best in: Forest, Plains". Does this mean that the increased growth rate is only limited to biomes labelled exactly as forest or plains? Or is there any chance that this would also include other forest biomes such as the Boreal Forest included in the Biomes O' Plenty pack.

Biome dict means any biomesbregistered as forest or plains.
