Ok so I've been searching the web for literally ages now and can't seem to find an answer. I cannot seem to breed any type of bee needed for the stark drone (earthen, watery, firey, windy) and it's really bugging me :). I have used an alveary, put a water source under the middle block and used 4 pieces of uranium out of desperation. Now I've really run into a problem. I can easily get the species back and since I'm on 1.5.2 (Unleashed) they're damaged. No cause for concern because serums can quite easily resolve that minor issue. But seriously... 4 pieces of uranium... Did. Not. Work. I really have gotten stuck this time, I don't normally but now... I really need help. :( Why doesn't this work? My ethereal and supernatural bees are not hybrids, and have rocks pollination with a hole to reach to open sky. It's underground if you hadn't already guessed. So if anyone has any ideas why this isn't working please let me know! :) I would sure be grateful.

It's not these ones I'm on about, these come after stark drones... I'm on about the ones that need to be bred together such as windy, watery, firey, earthen to get stark bees :3 Do I need the exact traits described in NEI when I search Windy Drone?

Ah I see, well here are the wiki pages for the bees you are actually looking for:

  • Needs a block of Water (still, not running) under the housing to be bred.

  • Needs a block of Lava (still, not running) under the housing to be bred.
http://ftb.gamepedia.com/Earthen_Bee
  • Needs a block of vanilla Bricks under the housing to be bred.

  • Needs a block of vanilla Leaves under the housing to be bred.

They are only a 14% chance except the earthen bee which is 100%, so I would try breed earthen first to see if there's maybe a bug... Also put the required block under the entire Alveary, no idea which block it checks... If that fails try use an Apiary...

Do I need any mutators/soul frames for the earthen bee? I just tried it in my alveary with 9 bricks underneath and no mutation thingies yet no outcome... Is it bugged? Also do I need a certain amount of stuff in the aura?

I'm just going by what it says on the wiki, however I've no idea what version the wiki is referencing... There are very very few people still playing 1.5.2 so I'm afraid your help may be limited.

Try in an Apiary with the correct block underneath it, if that doesn't work cheat them in.

From some Google searching I did, here's what little information I could find on the Extra Bees Mutator blocks, since you don't specify which mod they're from, I had a wild uneducated guess based on the search results that came up for "forestry mutator":

Note that it says using a Nether Star should bump mutation chances for any bee up to 250% but (a) I'm not sure which version of Extra Bees that page is for, meaning the information might be out-of-date or not relevant, in which case please ignore, and (b) it's somewhat likely you're talking about a different mod's mutator block or mechanism, please search for that mod's information on the internet, if so.
