Mac Ultimate launchin crash

When i try launching the ultimate pack on my mac, it loads but then just crashes with errors.
I have tested and vanilla minecraft and technic both seem to work fine with my mac.
I have not tried any of the other packs but will try

I have tried the latest direwolf20 and it works fine and i am sure the downloaded files are good as they work fine on my windows laptop

I have found that it works if i redownload from my mac but everytime i launch ultimate it asks me to re-update.
When i try and create a world i get this error

creating a world on the working direwolf20 works just fine as before

EDIT 3

i have isolated the world gen problem as being something with twilight forest.
I removed it and tried again but now i was getting permgen errors

seems like adding -xx:MaxPermGen=128m to addition java parameters worked and look like everything works fine now but would like help in getting twilight forest working again
