[MAC] Getting FTB onto the Steam?

(Sorry if this problem has been solved already, if so link the original thread to me please)

Has anyone with a Mac had any success in getting the FTB launcher on a Mac to work with Steam? If so could you tell me how you got it?
To anyone that doesn't know, on a Mac, the launcher is a Jar File. Steam's Add a Game button doesn't really work on Mac, since the window does not show Jar Files.

I'm not doing this just for the Steam Overlay, but I kinda want to have my friends see what I'm up to as well.

You can do this by making an application in Automator that starts the FTB launcher. After starting up Automator and choosing "Application", click and drag the following items into the area on the right and configure them as shown:

Get Specified Finder Items
-FTB_Launcher.jar
Open Finder Items
-Default Application

Save this application somewhere where it won't be moved, and add it to Steam.
