Mac mac FTB

hello when i try to play FTB on my mac it starts the client but then shuts down before forge mod loader starts downloading, i tried to use the command prompt,

cd Downloads
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home
java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar

but that doesnt seem to work either, although it used to
