Luring Chickens? What am I doing wrong?

Hey All, so I finally got around to making some livestock pens after building a few autofarms, and I've noticed that although Sheep react to the Wheat in my hand, Chickens just kind of look at me and stand there without following me around.


tl;dr: How can I lure chickens with this modpack? I tried googling and searching nei for chicken related items, to no avail.

Modpack Used: FTB Beta Pack A (awesome pack by the way)

The chickens hate you. Um I mean... It was changed to seeds in a recent vanilla update

It's obvious that I definitely did not read recent release notes hehe...

Might want to add that pigs no longer follow wheat too, they need carrots.

Is it possible to put seeds in a Railcraft feed station? I'm not getting it to work.
