Hi...i have a problem...the luncher whit my new OS Win 8 give me only max RAM 1 GB...but i have 6 GB of RAM...because???

How i can do???

Sorry for the english but im italian...

That's only how much you have to allocate man, don't worry about it really. unless you have lag problems.

I have problem because the distarnce rendering i need Normal non Shortly...

How i do to take 2 GB of ram to the luncher???or 3GB???

Well, I'm pretty sure there's no way you can, but if you're having FPS related rendering issues. I would get Optifine. It helps alot

maybe its java problem
do you have java 64-bit or 32-bit
if you have 32-bit try the 64 it will allocate more thin 1 only if your win 8 is 64bit

If you can only use 1gig ram that is because you are using 32bit.

Download and update to 64bit and have fun ;)
