EDIT: Cleaned up post so no more picture spam. Yay!
EDIT 2: Now making a modpack so progress will be slower.

I've been playing modded for a while now on my low-end laptop. I took a break from modded and switched to vanilla for a while, but I've decided to go back to modded. Yes I'm new to the forums :p
Anywho, this is on a fairly small modpack (75 mods or so, I believe) called Bytesize. I would've done an FTB pack but TBH I don't like the selection of mods in Lite 3 and didn't want to entirely redo the modlist.
I have made slight modifications to the pack due to personal taste.
I will attempt to make daily progress logs. However, with school this may not be possible.

Pack Changes:
Bytesize 0.1.5 on ATLauncher:

- Agricraft
+ ComputerCraft
+ AgriCraft

This will mainly be a build journal of all my progress and such throughout the world.
I'm not the best at aesthetic building, but I'm okay. As this is my first serious modded playthrough in a while, I may not be doing things the most efficiently either. Feel free to suggest things or ask questions.

So, now for progress on Day 1 (didn't take any screenshots early on sadly.)

Doing some caving. Repeatedly repairing a TiC stone pickaxe with Iguana Tinker Tweaks installed is worth it imo.
2016-10-15_13.54.21.png

Mini workshop after my puny mining efforts :p
2016-10-15_14.10.57.png

2016-10-15_14.10.52.png

Also, Pams HarvestCraft Toast is easily mass-producible early game and makes a decent amount of power in culinary generators. Using a watering can on a wheat farm, putting the wheat in a grindstone for flour, cooking the flour into bread, bread into toast, nets you 1 toast per wheat crop. Haven't tested 10/10/10 agricraft wheat though I'm assuming it's ridiculously overpowered.

Also had an "Oops" moment. It was only a 300 block walk in the middle of the night :eek:2016-10-15_14.36.18.png

Went caving some more and found this (and almost fell into it)
2016-10-15_15.30.35.png

I have no regrets for skipping armor and going for an Alumite Hammer ASAP. Found half a stack of diamonds in 15 minutes :)
2016-10-15_17.03.32.png

Hammers should probably be nerfed.
2016-10-15_16.29.10.png

2016-10-15_17.05.27.png

That was only 15 minutes of mining. The hammer has no modifiers either. However I got more diamonds than certus quartz, I don't know.

For now, that's it. I made more progress and would've posted more images, but the forum has other ideas. :p

Another day begins! Today stuff starts getting more interesting now that I have some basic technology. However, I had some things to do IRL today so I didn't play as much. Still made good progress!

Day 2:
First thing I did after logging on was making two Trivection Chamber Augments for my Toast production.
2016-10-16_14.26.14.png

Now I get four toast per one wheat. I did the toast production last night after posting. It's pretty basic, it just has a pulverizer that I dump wheat into to make flour. The pulverizer empties the flour out the left into a Redstone Furnace with the Trivection Chamber Augment to make two bread. That feeds into another Redstone Furnace to make four toast, which then empties into a JABBA barrel. Time to start some Agricraft and get 10/10/10 wheat for infinite toast! :p

AgriCraft + Watering Can = OP.
2016-10-16_14.45.34.png

Then a little bit later I got a 10/10/10 wheat field set up. One harvest = 8 stacks of toast... Well, definitely no power problems in the near-future!
2016-10-16_16.01.28.png
2016-10-16_15.58.50.png

Machines couldn't keep up! :p
Nether time! Not a fan of nether PvE, so ended up going creative to fly and break ores without getting blown up. Don't care about agro'd pigmen, but explosive ores is too hard for me :p
116 rf/t doesn't keep up with processing toast and ores at the same time. Note to self: need more powah!
2016-10-16_19.08.41.png
Going to be a busy night for my smeltery, that's for sure! At least I'll finally have some proper Manyullyn tools. Stone really doesn't suffice :p
But for now, that's it. Lotst some motivation throughout the day and there's some other things I want to do anyway, but atleast I made some progress today!

I made a post saying I was switching packs. Looks like it didn't post!
Anywho, I didn't want the small selection of mods (no surprise there) and now am playing SF 2.5. I'm really physched to play this pack because I haven't done modded skyblock in a while. I will be playing Garden of Glass. Started yesterday and already have an O.K. base going.
2016-10-20_18.24.03.png

My base on the first night. Just a few saplings on a cobble platform.
2016-10-20_19.43.07.png

Getting an Orechid! (And realizing that I need an iron pickaxe to mine these.)
2016-10-20_20.09.01.png

A bit more progress. Have basic Botania and crafting.
2016-10-21_17.53.25.png

The initial cobble gen. 2x3x2 with a glass case. Also, worth nothing Cooked Silkworms entirely fill your "secondary hunger bar" with Spice of Life. Easy food :p
2016-10-21_18.14.15.png

You can see my generator and Coke Oven in this picture.
2016-10-21_18.37.53.png

And then the blast furnace, of course...
2016-10-21_19.14.05.png

After my efforts of sifting through 9 stacks of sand/dust. Also includes some ores from gravel sifting. Not quite enough to get the 44 compacting drawers for my ore storage :p
2016-10-21_19.28.07.png

Beginning to expand and make room for a future manual machine room.
2016-10-21_19.38.24.png

This is a pretty good supply of ores for 18 stacks of dust/sand/gravel, eh?

For now, that's it! About 5 and a half hours of playtime so far. Currently working on getting power and Farming Station set up so I can automate trees ASAP ;) See you tomorrow (hopefully)! Have schoolwork to do, but hey, atleast I can AFK a few stacks of compressed sediment for ores ;)

Day 2! Hoping to keep the streak going for a few days.
But I did get a good amount of work done today.
2016-10-22_15.04.40.png

Sweet sweet power generation! Problem - need to manually input cobblestone. EnderIO fluid conduits are super cheap and OP for earlygame. Plus, I got an Ore Smasher.
2016-10-22_15.16.28.png

And then semi-automated ores! Just dump cobble in the hammerer, then a Transfer Node pulls it into the sieve.
2016-10-22_17.15.30.png
2016-10-22_15.32.43.png

My wall of ores...
2016-10-22_16.06.45.png

Fully automatic ores! (besides putting cobble into the one side every hour or two IRL) How it works: The barrel empties into a Transfer Node, which empties the cobble into 5 crucibles. Around the back, EIO fluid conduits pump it into the Lava Generator. The lava gen powers the Hammer and Sieve. The hopper puts cobble into the hammerer, which exits as gravel through the back (another Transfer Node) into the Sieve. The sieve has a hopper under it that empties into the Auto Compressor, powered by a survivalist generator. Pretty useful for earlygame.
2016-10-22_17.15.30.png

Getting some ore storage...
2016-10-22_18.09.41.png
Mob farm completed! Initially, they went up the "pipe" and drowned at the top. It was slow so I made a spike at the bottom. Very useful for loot bags / minicio production.
2016-10-22_18.15.58.png

Thanks a lot, Headcrumbs...
2016-10-22_18.23.35.png

For today, that's it! I did have a good deal of AFKing ores and such today. Will keep playing through the night so I have a lot of stuff for you guys tomorrow! - Lunar

Thank you! I have lots of motivation to keep going, especially after the milestones I hit today.
2016-10-23_13.26.36.png

Got Magical Crops going today. So now I have a few of these.
2016-10-23_13.46.35.png

Slowly getting closer to AE... (spoiler - I get it today)
2016-10-23_13.53.21.png

Almost there... just need the vibration chamber and terminal. Not to mention a few disks.
2016-10-23_14.19.18.png

Finally got it! Yay.
2016-10-23_15.13.29.png
Then began to make a Botania area for all the Botania stuff I got super early on. As you can probably tell I'm just all over the place with doing things.
2016-10-23_15.29.30.png

Got a small, 850 RF/t reactor. 0.08mb/t, super efficient. Crafting neccesary items was a frenzy and I almost didn't have enough items. Mainly because I had a few coal left before my AE died :p
2016-10-23_15.30.18.png

Better AE system! You'll see I have a barrel full of cobble connected via Storage Bus.
2016-10-23_16.01.04.png

Had a little bun of fun with my ores.
2016-10-23_17.21.51.png

Then automated soul sand so that I could get a stable supply of nether quartz. Transfer node pumps water into the barrels, transforms into witch water, sand gets pumped in from the bottom barrel with EIO conduits (so cheap and op for earlygame. Pulsating Iron is cheap with a mobfarm.) Then soul sand is pumped out with hoppers under the bottom. EIO input/output wouldn't work for me so that worked. Finally not running out of quartz.

And, lastly for today is my ender storage system. I have an Ender Pouch linked to an Ender Chest. The Ender Chest empties into a regular double chest, hooked up to my ME by a Storage Bus. So I can easily clean my inventory out now, yay! Here's a picture for those who want it:
2016-10-23_17.41.41.png
From left to right: Ender Chest, conduit, double chest, Storage Bus / ME. simple enough.
Anywho, hope you guys enjoyed this update! Was a lot of fun with the tech.

Why was I gone yesterday?
I was "busy"
How was I "busy?"
Let's say I was grinding ores for a while to 100% automate sifting and hammering. Yep. Now I have unlimited fuel for my reactor, so no power issues. Yay! Plus, with my soul sand producer, I now can maintain enough nether quartz to delve further into AE2. When I logged on my world earlier I was unmotivated, but now that I just have to smash ores and not hammer/sift is great.
Anywho, let's get into the pictures!
First off, I made a smeltery. It's only there to make better tools (when I feel like making casts) and to complete the smeltery achievement.
2016-10-25_14.51.29.png

I also had to upgrade my ME system. 6 1k cells atm.
2016-10-25_15.17.30.png
And then, of course, the oreprocessor. This uses around 195rf/t, but my reactor produces 850rf/t. It also makes plenty of yellorium to keep it fueled.
2016-10-25_16.01.25.png
2016-10-25_16.17.41.png

Then I decided, "Hey? Why not make a computer to control my reactor?" I've configured it to turn off at 99% buffer, and turn on at 95%. This should allow it to make fuel last a bit longer?
2016-10-25_16.38.23.png

Me being so excited made me forget to check on my mobfarm for a few hours. Now realized I needed a barrel system for it, as I was losing thousands of despawning items. All I needed was Minicio and Loot Bags, but hey. Still nice to have good storage! While I was at it, I also calculated I needed 2048 minicio to get to Zivicio Armor (the ingots alone.) Hooray for needing around 3-4k minicio to make that... Yay....
2016-10-25_17.02.12.png

And it did, quickly, become evident I did not have the space in my ME system to have the ore processor running a lot... (what you are about to see was after about 15-30 minutes of the processor running.)
2016-10-25_17.24.20.png
For now, that's it! May be able to get another small update out tonight, but I have homework to do :( So hope you enjoyed!

Sorry for inactivity! Been busy, and also working on a modpack with heavy loads of MineTweaker scripting that I hope to have a working version of soon. It's no excuse, and I'll try my hardest to get another update ASAP.

Much grindy, few pictures. However, I can say that I was playing for 5 hours. You'll see why.
2016-10-28_17.59.47.png

Got some automatic ore smelting going so that I didn't see hundreds of unprocessed ores in my system!
However, I quickly realized it needed an upgrade (when all the furnaces were full.)
2016-10-28_18.56.42.png

So I made some basic redstone furnaces!
Then I decided to check on my mob farm. I opened some loot bags and got a few rubber saplings. Got "too many" rubber saplings too quickly. They grow way too fast, nerf required IMO.
2016-10-28_18.57.33.png

2016-10-28_19.52.22.png

Redstone furnaces are plowing through the ores at a good rate. Good compared to the previous 700 or so ore dust/gravel/sand :p
2016-10-28_20.06.17.png

My excuse for having little progress in 5 hours of playtime - I had to make Crucio Armor and a Crucio Hoe. Good news - Minicio now yields 3 per crop so it's not so slow on the road to Zivcio Armor. Will be 5 per crop at Imperio, 9 at Zivicio... Yeah, I'll need a Zivicio Hoe when I can automate this.
2016-10-28_20.27.14.png

Then I realized my 1k cells were half full. So I wasted a few hundred ingots/dusts/crystals on 2 drives, and 10 4k cells. Good news - no storage problems anytime soon, especially with 4 diamond chests on Storage Buses.
Decided to look up "Ingot" in my ME system. Was not disappointed. Also worth noting I have around a stack of Yellorium in my reactor so I have virtually unlimited power ATM. Once I automate a bit more stuff, like farming, I will probably need to get a better reactor soon as I already use 300rf/t or so - 200-250rf/t oreprocessing, 100rf/t ME system.
2016-10-28_20.27.53.png

For now, I will call it a day. I may do some sifting/farming throughout the night to try and speed things up a little, but at this point in time I'm not sure. For anyone wondering, my timezone is EST(US) so if you're in a different timezone you aren't so confused about my time refrences

Anywho, hope you enjoyed the (small) update!

"Did you know this pack has Vein Miner?"
Why....

Good news - my mattock leveled up!
Bad news - it's going to take a while to fix. Well, I can be glad that I didn't veinmine my "basement" floor!

Can you go back and use spoiler tags on the images? Every time I click into this thread to see your new posts, all of the images load and force the posts way down the page, and I kinda get lost.

Example:

Code:

[/spoiler]

I like looking through what you've done on-site here, and spoiler tags help to turn the post into sections and make them easier to read.
