Low performance ?

I am playing FTB Infinity and my settings are not high. They are:

Render Distance - 9
Smooth Lighting - Min
Graphics - Fancy
Particles - Min

I have an i5 - 4460, 8GB of DDR3 Ram with 4GB allocated, my fps is only around 30-40 and i feel i should be getting around 100 with my pc. Am i doing something wrong ? I have fastcraft too and optifine
 
Fancy graphics is the higher setting. Try fast.

Also, welcome to modded MC. Your PC will average that frame rate most of the time. MC =/= AAA gaming graphics performance.
 
You have dedicated graphics? Because although Minecraft is not very demanding graphically, it can still be bottlenecked heavily by weak GPUs(such as the HD 4600 in your CPU.) Your FPS sounds about right if you are using integrated.

My GPU is a Nvidia GT 630 2GB

However at christmas I'm getting a 970
