Details of the issue:
I'm getting really bad performance on FTB Infinity. If I have no texture packs or anything I get a nice 120fps, however, with stuttering with camera movement. If I add a 64x64 Sphax texture pack with the patch, I get around 40-80fps, and with 128x128 I get 18fps at best... I knew minecraft was badly optimized but not this badly optimized. I'm fine with 40fps, but the camera stuttering is unbearable. Another strange thing is that it is only using about 20% of my CPU and 30-40% of one of my GPUs.

i7 3930k
2x 980 Ti
16GB RAM​
 
How much RAM did you allocate to ftb? and is the percentage of CPU usage 1 core or the whole CPU? Minecraft mostly uses 1 core so percentage over the whole CPU doesn't tell much.
