Low fps on alright pc

ok im playing on a laptop that has a
Cpu: i7 5500U
Gpu: Nvidia Geforce 840 / Intel hd Graphics 5500
Ram 8G 1600mhz

So i should be able to play above tiny with on 20fps with these specs right

is the nvidia control panel set to use only the nvidia card and not the on-board intel HD one?

We need far more information than that to help. We need the pack, Java version, amount of dedicated RAM, and if the pack has been modified in anyway.

You also need to set Java to use your NVIDIA card or your FPS won't go up by much. I've done it without issues, so something you did wasn't correct in trying to set it.
