As the topic says I'm looking for 4-8 slot server capable of running FtB: Ulimate pack smoothly.
I'd prefer a service with a voice server included but it's not a must.
I'm unsure of RAM requirements on this but I know FtB: Ultimate via the launcher boasts over 90 mods.
Please help.

I have co-located my own server in a data center. Its a 6-core 3.1ghz amd with 32gb of ram and 2x2tb HDDs in a RAID1 configuration all running from a 100mbit connection. Its currently running 2 ftb servers, 2 bukkit servers, 1 vanilla server, 4 web servers, 3 ts3 servers, and some little stuff, and the hardware is barely being touched. I have plenty of room for some other servers if you are interested in renting out some space. The only thing I don't have is a SSD because all my money is going into hosting fees, but I can offer you 4gb of ram, 100gb space, and a web and voice server. If you want to come check out one of my severs PM me.

I have a 8 slot FTB Ultimate server and I have a teamspeak server if you want to join us, it would be free so that's a plus Lol.

I'm running a server with 3 people (recommending 5-6) which came with a mumble server, I'm using Feed the beast ultimate okay, for £3.39 a month, they also have larger services, all of which come with a file manager and online console with an installer for the pack built in (among other modpacks and apis like bukkit) The service is veoserv.com if you're interested.

You are running on 256mb of ram and you say the server runs ok? It boggles my mind how people will take the work of others, and strip all the best parts of it in the name of lowering the servers memory foot print. I am currently running a FTB Ultimate server in all its glory with only 2 mods disabled (twilight forest and railcraft) with about 8 players and the server idles at 2gb of ram. And the only reason the 2 mods are disabled is my hardware wasn't the original host, and I haven't messed with adding the mods back in. Running vanilla minecraft uses about 10mb per player, so that amount of ram versus players is awesome. Moving up to Bukkit, a heavy plugin load can cause the player ram usage to jump up to 100mb per player. Moving to a forge server, the ram usage per player with end game items and tech can easily go to 500mb to 1gb per player. Veo has one if the better ram pricing layouts, but just getting to the level of one of my 8gb FTB servers cost more than my entire hosting fees for my entire 32gb server. And I could up the ram on my server, its just really expensive. We paid >$100 for 32gb of ram, to double the ram to 64gb it would cost upwards of $500. (and yes I could quadruple it to 128gb but that would cost $4000 to $5000, at that price it would be better to rebuild the hardware and add another cpu and 4 slot memory bank with two 4x16gb ram kits totaling 128gb) And right now I'm just trying to get SSD's for better Minecraft IO performance. Of corce the OP hasn't responded to his post in over a week, so he most likely found something, and I hope he is happy with it.

Yea your better off moving to a server that is quality over quantity if your in one of those server that pay for "cheap" hosting that is way under the specs than you really need. My server is at 16 bucks a month but for good quality play I gotta limit to 4 players so for good hosting your looking at having to pay 4 to 6 bucks a month per slot for good performance and getting them to donate is not easy either. Because they either don't want to or don't have money to. Plus since there so many in the "market" they'll probably just leave you behind.
