Looking for Modding tutorial

Hi it's WrinkleyPotato and I have been looking to mod for quite some time now but never found any awesome tutorials. If you know of one it can be youtube or text whatever but can you link in this thread? Thanks ahead of time!

Things I would like in the tut:

• Ore gen
• Mobs
• Dimension/Portal
• Furnace Recipes
• Crafting Recipes
• Drops and the sort

If you're not yet familiar with Java, go read some tutorials about that first.
