I am someone who really wants to play an hqm pack, but everyone i find is too beefy for my computer to handle, or i have already played it, my laptop is only an i3 with 1.8GHz and 4GB of ram, so if anyone can, plz pm me or respond to this thread any hqm packs that are not too much or too big for my laptop to handle, and i would really appreciate it!

Try banished or marooned, - most skyblock packs should run ok crash landing, regrowth, atonement, clouds of darkness, obscurity, void world, hubris, magic world, post finem. All these played ok for me on my pc which has similar spec, I've just added more ram which has opened more packs.
They are all hqm except atonement which has a v. good guidebook to point the way.
Blightfall was well worth playing has hqm but not ftb check the mc forum if you havent tried it already.
You've probably tried many of them but I hope you find something useful to try.

And also I have a desktop in my basement which is 16GB of ram, 3.6GHz and an i7, but the problem is we have this battery back up surge protector port that has many plugs, either the computer plug itself is bad or the surge protector in the box has gone bad and the desktop was running off of the backup because it is essentially just a brick right now, so ya...

Might be easier to fix that desktop. Not that HQM packs are too heavy to run, most actually have less mods. However a lot of them make automation as a goal for the quests.
