As the title says, I'm looking for exceptional examples of well written mods. (With source code available) It doesn't have to be based on any specific thing (magic, tech, whatever). I just think I would enjoy reverse engineering a good example that plays well with forge and works well with things like automation and Micro-blocks and stuff; basically, all the things that my mod will be expected to work with or have implemented.

I'm already familiar with Java, and have a few ideas for mods already, that I want to make and play with (and I'll release them for all of you guys when the time comes).
I'm starting with 1.7.10, but I'd be interested in 1.8 examples as well.

For mod integration stuff, I think Simply Jetpacks is great: https://github.com/Tonius/SimplyJetpacks

Another personal favourite is Botania.

Don't remember much more off the top of my head. Most of the time when I'm modding I just go "hey, that feature in that mod was cool, I want to know how it's implemented" and then google it to see if it's open-source.:D
