Looking for a new modpack!

Hey guys, I've been lurking on this forum and finally signed up a bit ago cause I just needed some assistance and once again I'm at that time where I cant really decide. I'd like to hear from the community at large and I hope you all can help me for my needs.

I've been a long fan of DW20's pack and much to my surprise I heard there were new packs out, I checked them out and quickly found issues which I'm sure you all are aware of along with a lack of some mods I have come to grow accustomed to, one of which was RedPower 2. I am thinking of sitting out this incarnation of DW20 (for now until it's fixed perfect) and I've been really hard up to decide on what I really need.

My main needs are pretty much what DW20 had for 1.4.7 and while I'm sure I could do without I really wanna keep it somewhat close to that. Are there any mod packs that meet my needs?

Some finer details are AE, thaumcraft, microblocks, some form of wireless redstone, redstone wires, xycraft, forestry/bees, portal guns, gravisuit gravity gun, ender storage, tesseracts/energy cells (aka thermalexpansion).

Sorry if it's long winded for just, "Help me decide" but I never post unless there's something worthy of posting so I thank you all in advance for your help.

Wow that is cluttered... looking through the stuff I still dont know all what's in it sides what the videos show. Xycraft kinda is a huge part of my mod seeing as I have an entire ship made out of engineering bricks.. That's a bit depressing to hear about xycraft. I wasn't clear, sorry for the confusion, I was looking for FTB related mod packs since I already have the launcher and all.

My decision is between the most recent ftb packs for 1.5.2

It doesn't matter what you chose, whatever world you're holding onto now, or plan to make in a 1.5.2 modpack WILL break when everything is updated to 1.6, so I suggest just sticking with what you have for a couple months until the 1.6 release. Finish up any projects you wanted to do and say goodbye to that world, because it will not work in 1.6.

Unleashed has all those features in some form or another except for xycraft which is mostly used as a cheap/flexible alternative to iron tanks .

Unleashed is still a fairly easy pack because it has dart-craft and has no greg-tech. There is going to be a variation of it soon called "unbalanced" which is based on StrayMav's configs and added mods (namely connective destruction and tree cap). I heard that the devs are planning to upgrade the mobs to "balance" it.

That's a little disappointing... tho my thing is I'm not wanting to bring over my world, I've come to understand that what I make in one world can be gone in an instant, my main thing is just something that fixes a ton of bugs and whatnot that the other mods had, I can get used to not using xycraft blocks but they look so cool...

I guess the only way is to just try them out, I'll check out unleashed and see how that works for me. I used to play my own made modpack before my gal found DW20 and loved it so we've been working on a world, looks awesome and will miss that but the main ones was mystcraft, AE, microblocks, thermal expan, portal guns, grav suit and bees oh and cant forget enderstorage heh... so I'm enjoying the 1.4.7 but wanna try something new, not only that after testing the DW20 pack my frames were back at the normal 50-60 that I usually had with my own modpack, and that's without optifine...

It will probably be compatible, cept liquids gonna be gone. So fill up a chest with every liquid in their bucket / can form, thanks to Liquid Transposer.

It's kinda like preparing for the Flood really. Stock up on a couple of supplies, and once it's over release those supplies back. :p
