I know that there is a thread very similar to this one, but I was wondering what your ideal ore processing line looks with GregTech specifically. I have made a couple in the past but it would be interesting to see what you guys have done. : P

The best for starters is a pulverizer with a hooper on top next to a powered furnace with a chest on top. Once you get your industrial grinder going non-stop (producing more then 128 eu/t from your power net) it becomes the best thing to grind your ores with. Also note that you can have up to 4 grinders at the same time sharing the machine casing multiblock.

Also if time does not matter then factorizations ore tripling system is worth a look but takes 20 min or so to triple one ore.

I think he's talking about an automated industrial grinder. So gregtech grinders only.

As for IG grinding, I have a ton of spare MJ so I can keep filling the cells with a liquid transposer (taking water from xycraft's new way of getting infinite water.) and of course, buildcraft pipes to pump things in and out. So I use 3 grinders for automated processes but the 4th is reserved for personal use. Like using mercury and sodium persulfate cells.

Btw, you can pump water directly to industrial grinder. If you have both water (in liquid storage) and mercury/sodium persulfate cells in it, the machine will check if it can use mercury/sodium persulfate , if it can't water will be used.
