If this server doesn't work out for you I have a private server with a private modpack with a lot of good mods for 1.6.4. Server is based in EU, connection & performance is amazing and most of my players are from EU and age 20-45 (I'm 31). As its a private server all my players friends and are all trusted so we don't have any grief protection as there is no need for it. If interested send me a PM.
