My first crack at the FTB logo, mostly just playing with shape and color for now. Any comments? Tried to see waht it would look like on black and white.

Here's my attempt at some logos, not much but meh.

I was meant to include some minecraft features but it was late and I needed sleep, probably upload some later.

Here's what I came up with so far.
The concept is pretty simple. It's supposed to resemble a minecraft block, with the ftb name underneath. :3
I went for clean, mostly.

Also had two versions. One has the original colors on the block with a greyscale on the name (this can be changed to only one tone, or maybe white, black doesn't look so nice)

The other one is colored as a dirt block and the colors are on the text.

Personally I like the first the most. :3

The second one really draws my eye (the earthy colours on the block are great, and it's recognisable as a block of grass). I wonder whether it would also work with the initials of feed the beast instead, a letter on each side. Might not look as good though.

Well, watched a VOD of Slow's stream yesterday, and...he seems to have liked some of mine, so I made a few tests here and there of how the specific logo would appear in the forums.
