Logistics pipes for Minecraft 1.5?

Hi all, I've recently watched dozens of Let's play videos for older versions of FTB in hopes of learnign a bit more about the mods, when i came across Krapht's logistics pipes. I was wondering if there had been any news on it's possible update for MC 1.5.

I know Direwolf20 pack+ has Applied Energistics which is an excellent auto sorting/crafting system, but it can get messy and buggy.

Any help would be fantastic! Especially if you know a quick fix for the most recent version to work with the most recent version of Mindcrack!

Yeah, I must say I'm missing the additional pipes as well, mainly the insertion, extraction, crossover and value pipe, they were really nice.

I do believe that so far Slow's Stream Pack has Logistics Pipes so far. We are waiting for Krapht to update LP.

Didn't Krapht abandon LogiPipes over a year ago? Last I heard Krapht was excitedly working on LogiPipes 2, but that was a couple months ago.

I don't think there is anything in 1.5, but I do have Logistic Pipes in 1.4.7 and it is still developed by someone for sure since a lot of new features appeared since the 1.2.5 LogiPipes.

In the meantime, Applied Energistics fills 90% of the function that LP had, plus additional storage capabilities.

Yeah, but the cost of AE pushes it to much later in the game, where LP could be started quite early and expanded as you advanced. It seems to me AE can't really do anything until you have enough infrastructure to build everything in one go. I like to start with a couple little things and build up.
