True. You need to update Java.
Updating Java will fix 90% of the issues people have.
After updating, if you still are having an issue, Please post the logs also....?

Unless you know what you're doing (and if you have to ask, the answer's "no") you shouldn't ever have more than one version of Java installed. This avoids problems caused by it using the wrong version of Java by mistake.
OK, I only have one java and that java is java 7. Yet, FTB still crashes right after the "FML is setting up the environment" thing.
