I was testing this in a single player flat test world and came across the fact that if you create a forcefield (dome or cube for instance) without some sort of security card, even people in the admins list of the config file cannot get past the field. If you have any type of security card in it, it works as normal. Is there any way to get into a forcefield that doesn't have a security card in it?

I believe you should be able to break through it in Creative mode. I have not tried this in recent versions of MFFS, though.

I've actually been trying this in creative mode. No such luck. In fact, I found out because I accidentally switched on a forcefield small enough that when i turned it on with a multitool switch, I ended up on the outside. Now I can't get on the inside where the capacitor is (so i can't drain it either).

Nvm. I figured it out. For future reference: I just realized that you can use the teleport command based off coordinates to get inside the forcefield. Thanks anyways

If you don't have a cutter upgrade to the feild,
You can break a block under the shield and place a red wire before the field knows what's going on and places a FF block

EDIT: Don't take my word for it, They mighta' patched it, As well they should. You shouldn't be able to get through a feild if you aren't an admin

You can't get through the field even if you ARE the admin/OP/Mod or are alone on a single player world (in which case you should be treated as admin anyways). Messing around with the MFFS on a single player world. Lock yourself out, and the only way you're getting back in is if you change the ID for the projector in the configs.

Probably an issue that should and could be easily fixed. They have the admin-only infinite power card. There should also be an admin only infinite switcher. With the device in hand, an admin can just look at a bubble and use the device to turn it off leaving all others alone.

Well, another method that doesn't involve admin or creative is to cut off the power to it

You should be able to stop the power being fed to the extractor feeding the capacitor, which means eventually the forcefield will run out of power.

Indeed. It will probably take a few ages but unless you did something foolish like used a solar panel on it, no small field should last forever. A solar panel can just get a block placed in it's sky path to cut off energy.

A small field will take a while to drain due to low power need, but unless you had a stack of hoppers sitting on top full of forcicium or loaded cells it will not be too onerous to wait it out. Activate your MPS Patience module. :p

found the solution!

Get an MFFS debug tool, Then also in your hotbar, Use your bypass tool, It will override
