Vathell, Jimbob, and I start playing on a brand new vanilla server. We spent a few hours running around looking for the new biomes and trying to find places to live. I never did find anything that blew me away so I settle down with some horses. I haven't played vanilla in a while so I feel very noobish...

This is the second attempt to recording episode 8. We will look at the stuff I did during the first take and I show you what I found underground!
Lets just say I build a sword and attempt to learn how to use it.
In previous episodes I have shown you my oreberry farm. In this episode I develop a simple and relatively compact system that will craft ingots from all the the nuggets. Since aluminium does not have an ingot I decided to use the Tinkers Construct Smeltery to create aluminium blocks. This is a 100% fully automated system.
I logged on to find a little gift... The nice and wonderful person I am decided to return the favor using my knowledge of Dartcraft and old school redstone methods.
In this episode I work on the central node and hook my mass fabricator to the ME system.

I build a 'fishing hut' that will most likely be an AFK house.
Today we explore charge pads and try to get a charging station set up in the main node. I also spend some time building the ceiling and walls of the node. Let me know what you think.
Some of the guys on the server decide to build a high speed rail system connecting our bases to spawn. Living 5k blocks from spawn means I need a lot of rails so I spend some time to figure out how to automate rolling machines. I also give a mini spawn tour
