Living Armor Upgrades?

So I have looked in the in game blood magic guide and several wikis and neither told me what each living armor upgrade does and how to get the upgrade. So if someone could please tell me or redirect me to a wiki that has this information I would really appreciate it. Thanks

http://ftb.gamepedia.com/Living_Chestplate is what I've used in the past. Granted they don't exactly mention the living armor downgrades at all though.
