hello to all,

I have made a nice pump system it's work well with water i can pump water on a buildcraft wooden pipe trought a golden one and have the water on a tank then i can use a motor for extract from the tank the water.

But the problem if with this violet biofuel i want to refull a biofuel generator with that biofuel i can drop it with bucket on the tank and the motor extract it from the tank it's work the problem is for pumping it it's not working.....
so i think i used the bad pump i use the IC2 basic one pump (green one) i have tried to use the other one i have on my modpack but i don't know how this one work .... it's an electric one as i can see and on the GUI i see the pump function but nothing more happen with biofuel i have no idea how to pump it directly on a tank

did you know how i can pump the violet biofuel please? it's work with water and oil but not with the biofuel

thank you in advance

Forgive me, but i can't understand this. What's violet biofuel? Why in the world would you use an ic2 pump to give fermenters water?

the thing i want to do is to extract (pump) the biofuel into the tank from a lake or rivier of biofuel
biofuel is a liquid the color is violet (purple) and like water or oil i can use bucket for tranfer it into a tank the cool idea is to do that automatic
i have no problem for extract the biofuel out of the tank it's work perfectly but for pump it like i can do with oil or water trough a system of pipe for example for have it inot the tank actually i'm a bit lost because the pump only do the work with water or oil actually (probably it's work with lava but i'm not sure i don't have test lava)

example :

i have a nice oil "lake" or lake of water i can use a bucket for transport that into a tank or use a transport pipe system with a pump for have that automaticely into the tank it's work perfectly
but with biofuel nobiofuel oil or water are liquid

i can show you a little video if needed for better understanding

what mod gives rivers or lakes of biofuel? in any case, I guess try buildcrafts pump and not IC's pump. hook it up to atleast a sterling engine or electric engine. if using pumps, it should just flow. This is of course if buildcraft is compatible with whatever mod your using for biofuel lakes or whatever.

Guys ok so MFR produced violet colored boifuel. It isn't recognized as a liquid by the pipes. I suggest using liquiducts or as stated before " tesseracts " ! If those don't work one of your config files may have been corrupted!

Sorry I misread. Certain liquids aren't able to be pumped eg. Liquid glowstone, liquid gold, liquid ender etc.

yes it's MFR stuff i have try the two pump system i have here of course coupled with electric engine but seem this biofuel can't be pumped arggggggghhhh take it manualy with bucket 1 by 1 is soooo slooooooowwwww hahaha bah thank you for the help people ;)

see if there is a mfr method of relocating liquids...

cans ? i agree i never use deeply forestry actually hmmmm probably automated stuff can be done i still try actually i have only IC2 pump and buildcraft pump i have try these methods but effectively forestry or MFR method , if any, can be good i play in same time as i write here

I said plugins for forestry, not forestry

What pack are you on? Why do you need to pump the biofuel from the ground? Did you take it out of the reactor and place it in the world?
Waterproof pipes should automatically pull from the reactor without need of wooden ones or power.

Can we have pictures?

Couldn't you use routers to extract the buckets and place them in the tank or better yet use bc pipes to do it ?

I would use waterproof piping to move any liquids. If you are generating biofuel, simply storing it in an iron tank allows you to use BC waterproof pipes + redstone engine for all your liquid moving needs.

I would suggest against placing liquids into a pool/river/lake. Not only is it inefficient space wise, but there is no way to refill the lake/pool/river unless you place it manually using a bucket.

In the end, using iron tanks or xycraft tanks to store your liquids as they provide you with the means to manage your liquids a lot better.
