Liquid Transfer Node Problem in Infinity

Im having trouble creating an infinite water transfer system using Extra Utilities Transfer Nodes.

Im using the Transfer Pipe and the Liquid Transfer node and it seems to connect properly when attaching it to a tank but when i try to use an infinite water source the transfer node doesnt attach to the pipe.

The screenshot below should show this pretty clear. On the left is the infinite water source and on the right is showing it works with a tank.

Am i doing something wrong here?

Also i put in a World Interaction upgrade and it has no effect.

you actually need to put the node above the water, and you currently have it in the water.
you also have the node upside down, and don't forget to use a world interaction upgrade otherwise the node will not start pumping water

Put a block of some kind down 1st, place your liquid transfer node, then break out the block. Water source blocks around the "hole" will refill the space and you are good to go.

One world interaction upgrade and you are off.
