Hi,

I have been running a SMP FTB server with MCPC+ for a group of kids (about 7). The server is running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS it has 16GB RAM and a i5 Intel processor. The whole thing runs on SSD storage. It only has basic plug in's or Essentials, LWC and CoreProtect.

It has been working great for about a month. Last night for some reason Java crashed on the server. A reboot of the server and all was good again. Until I was notified that the server map lost about a week of progress. I don't see why this would occur. Looking though the server.log nothing looks strange.

Where should I begin investigating?

Thanks!

I know I'm not being of much help, but unfortunately I can't think of any other scenario where the files would be reverted back to a previous state instead of completely lost.

I'm not familiar with the plugin CoreProtect. Does that have the ability to roll back an area? Might have went haywire.

It sounds like the saves weren't saving correctly, saving to a different location, or was turned off completely.

Everlast thanks a million. I am still unsure if CoreProtect caused the problem but it has fixed it pretty well. Doesn't restore wires or pipes but does restore major items and changes.
I found out it is using SQLlite. I will be replacing that with mysql sooner than later because I know SQLlite isn't exactly great.

I will now be doing 15 minute diff copies so this issue when it does occur again will not pose so much of a problem
