Jobs plugin is being configured, as we speak, to encompass non-vanilla items and blocks as well. Balancing is also very much in the works, but so far, things are working well!
For a "Residential" player, we've got almost all the needs taken care of. Shelter, and income generation.
Our next focus will be of that of "Industry." By that, I mean that we will be looking into creating a way to generate and remove items from the game's economy, in order to preserve the economy, and to generate cash flow! For the "Residential" player, this means that players will have a source to buy key items from, using all the new income options they've received.
On a further note, the
"Jobs Plugin" I'm using will be configured for multiple different types of "Mining." These are not quite finished, but will be shortly!
The typical "Miner" job will receive payout from things like Iron and Copper, Tin and Silver.
A "Hellminer" will be funded from breaking Nether Ores that aren't tied to another category. Simple, like the Miner.
A "Gemcutter" (not to be confused with a
Gemcutter's Prism. Reference get!) will receive payouts from collecting precious gems. (e.g. Diamonds, Emeralds, Rubies / Sapphires / Peridot, and Amethyst / Ruby / Sapphire / Peridot / Malachite / Tanzanite / Topaz.)
A "Thaumaturge" will be paid out for.. Take a guess! Thaumcraft mining. (Shards [Earth / Fire /
Wind Air / Water /
Heart / Order / Entropy], Amber, and Cinnabar.) May add support for collecting Mana Beans.
A "Technician" will get funds from breaking apart any ReactorCraft ores. Uranium from IC2 will count as well.
Sadly, at no point will I be able to add support for Tinkers' Construct for things like weapon manufacturing, and repairs. Vanilla support will remain, though I should be able to add support for single construction tools, like a Quartz, or various gemstone sword.
Enchanting may prove to not yield a problem. Not certain on that either though.
