Lightning Rod stopped working

Hey guys, I have a lightning rod from Gregtech set up in an Eternal Storms age with an Energy Bridge feeding into an Energy Tesseract. Now, I understand the chance of getting a lightning strike isn't high, but I've gotten nothing these past 6 hours and I'm at a loss. The iron fence posts stretch from bedrock all the way up to world height, with no blockage in between. This setup was working before, but it seems I messed something up along the way. Any chance one of your keen eyes can see what I'm overlooking?

Eternal Storm ages do not increase a chance for lightning, build it in the overworld and watch it work fine

See, that's just it, the Eternal Storm age *was* working just fine, for about 4 days even, it's only just now decided to stop. I know Charged has no effect on it, but Eternal Storms should work.

Move it to the overworld and test again. If it works int he overworld, it has nothing to do with the rod and it has something to do with your age.

Well, I moved it to the overworld.

Good news: lightning is striking the rod.

Bad news: the energy bridge isn't converting any of it.

I'm thinking my problem might lie here.

edit: Tinkered around with the energy bridge, and it seems to be working just fine now. Thanks for the help though!
