Hi, ive been recently getting shocked by lightning a lot...
And i have no idea why... I just got shocked like 1 minute ago from
when im posting this... I do have Energetic bees... but there always off,
I never use them. (Energetic bees make lightning) Its also day time, not raining.
Does my armor make some sort of signel to the sky or something...?
I have Gravi Chest plate, quantum legs, boots and Ultimate solar helmet.
If you read this post.. thanks... I'd like to know why, Not that it hurts me or anything...
Just curiouse.
Please reply. :)

Btw.. edit: Got shocked again ;l

If always off means that they are in an apiary but have no "flowers" bee effects work even when there are no flowers for them nearby. If that's not it you or someone you play with if you're on a server is not being thoughtful about their thaumcraft research.

If there's enough flux, thaumcraft can cause lightning strikes, sometimes focused on players. Does it happen anywhere else?

This is certainly one of the more amusing issues.
As InfamousAsHell said it could be flux, slap on a pair of Goggles of Revealing and check the flux.

A good way to tell if this is the case is if you have a high spawn rate of wisps around you which could indicate you have corrupted node, usually found within Thaumcraft dungeons. (The little hill dungeons)

Solution? Move.

That could also be from flux. Have you been doing TC3 lately?

Ahh the aura node in my house that i made out of silver trees has high flux. I recetly made a ton of nitors soo all the extra junk
I threw in my crucible to make it probably made all the flux :/

Wouldn't the corrupted node just eat the new one?
EDIT: That could actually make things worse if this is the case, FYI.
Unless you planted a lot and grew a large node far enough away, then moved it. Then it would be the opposite and very helpful. However that is very difficult...

You could try pure bees, but you need a pure node to breed them. It wouldn't change the node but it would clear up the flux a bit.

Yeah, one time I accidentally made 40 thaumium... instead of 4... I had a lot of wisps, needless to say.

Yeah I.. I guess i Have some thaumcraft bees like arcane enchanted.. charmed... etc... I could try to get a pure bee. Do pure bees need a certain moon faze to be made?

Do you use Alembics?[DOUBLEPOST=1375577926][/DOUBLEPOST]I once had an incident where I attempted to put a few flint in a crucible by holding a stack of them and right clicking in my inventory screen to drop one by one into the crucible.
Only for some reason the game took that idea and went NOPE, ALL IN.

I made the server owner angry...

On the plus side, we made a witch farm. c:

The moral of the story, the Q button is your best friend with the crucible.

They can only be bred at night, during a full moon, near a pure node - and even then the chance is small. I would reccommend getting a lot of drones and princesses ready as well as metabolic frames or soul frames, and then an oblivion frame. Saves a lot of time.

Even then it can be tricky to get the right amount - I would reccommend getting all four alembics with 5 tallow golems, calculating exactly how much you need, then separating the materials into stacks of the right size. If you have any odd amounts left in the alembics, like 5 or 6 (you need 8 to be able to transfer it using a phial) try to use other materials to even it out. With the infusion altar, try to use warded jars instead of tossing items into crucibles. If you have to, drop items into the crucible and shift-right click with the wand to separate the essentia into the alembics, and then move it to jars.

I find that this is a lot safer, although there is still chance for human error.
