Windows .exe Light in game

Hey so I'm wondering, my feed the beast client I game is much darker with light and, I've got the brightness up to max and compare it with vanilla and there is such big difference.. I'm using direwolf20, is there a mod I can deactivate to make the light or shadows as vanilla? Kind of bugging me a lot. Thanks for replies
