Level.dat suddenly blank

I've been playing Unleashed for a few days and suddenly the world has disappeared from the worlds list in-game. When I looked at the save files, all the files seem to be present, but level.dat and level.dat_old are both blank. Does anyone know what could have caused this and/or how to fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's a fix for this- since the fix I would have suggested involved level.dat_old! You may just have to chalk this one up to experience, and start again. In future, try to make regular backups of your world folder to an external storage device (personally, I backup every week to a USB drive, so I don't loose too much). This serves the dual functionality of letting you play the same save on any PC with FTB installed. *cough* work computer *cough*

I've have this problem recently, tried to shift click propolis into one of my advanced bee machines (which only takes bees) and the game crashed.

Level.dat, level.dat_old and level.dat_mcr completely gone.

I managed to get my world back by starting a new world, closing that and copying those files from that save into my old world.

This gets you back into your old world, but you lose everything on your character and you start back at original spawn.

Thankfully I'd set some waypoints in the old world and looked in %appdata%/.minecraft/mods/VoxelMods/voxelMap/MyOldWorld.points (a text file) and found the co-ords of my home waypoint.
