Lead ore???

So I see from other posts that there might be two lead ores?
I'm only getting the purple type, but I need the grey type. EVERY lead ore I've ever gotten (and thats multiple stacks worth) have been the purple type. Is there something I'm missing about how to get the grey lead ore that you can actually use for recipes?

use the forge lexicon to convert them free of charge to the type you need
