Launching custom modpack as server

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title Launching custom modpack as server

Launcher Type Twitch Desktop App

Modpack Custom

Modpack version 1

Have you modified the pack? Yes

Link to log file

Details of the issue Me and my friend made a custom mod pack for the mods we wish to play with
consisting of:
Advanced Solar Panels
Bibliocraft
DecoCraft2
Forestry
Gravitation Suite
Industrial Craft
Inventory Tweaks
JourneyMap
Just Enough Items (JEI)
Mantle
Railcraft
Tinkers Construct

We would like to play together with just these mods what's the best way to achieve this?
Can we get a bat for these mods only or what do we have to do?

So all the server batch files do is launch the jar file for forge. Like the client you just place the mods into the mods folder. So go to http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the forge version that matches your client. I recommend you use the installer-win version of it. When you download it launch it and select the radio button for install server. It will download the needed minecraft files and libraries and place the forge jar file in the same folder. From there copy over the config & mods folder from your client. Then remove any mods that are client side only (for example custom main menu & mouse tweaks). Then just double click on the forge jar file to launch. If you want to specify java arguments then create a batch or script file in the same folder as the server jar files.
