Launcher won't work?

I've downloaded the exe file and started it up. I haven't managed to create a profile and download the mods as the mod pack area on the left hand side just states "Please wait while mods are being loaded" and doesn't allow me to select a mod pack... any ideas on what's wrong?

Post the console log to pastebin, if it's not enabled you can enable it under the options tab.

I pressed paste to pastebin but it didn't open? It says connect timed out?

Copy and paste the log to pastebin.com manually.

FTB is currently experiencing some server issues, wait until you're able to load http://creeperrepo.net/static/FTB2/modpacks.xml in your browser. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this other than just waiting until they're back up.
