Launcher Won't Update

I am on launcher version 1.0.1 right now and whenever I open it, it asks if I would like to update the launcher or not. When I click yes, the launcher quits. When I reopen it, I am still at version 1.0.1 and the same popup appears asking if I would like to update. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try downloading the exe/jar from the website. I believe they update themselves.

It's a bug that causes the launcher to be unable to fully update itself.
The propper launcher should be located in your "updatetemp" folder located in the same folder as your launcher.
Just move the launcher file from updatetemp to your launchers folder and overwrite the existing launcher file.
Also delete the "logindata" file before trying to launch again
If im not mistaken is this caused by having a space in the filepath.
This can also cause other issues so if you experience more issues in the future then try to move the launcher to a filepath that don't contain special characters such as space.
